Holiday Market Edition
Axis Lab transformed an underutilized storefront space beneath the Argyle Red Line Station. For the holiday season, we hosted a premiere arts, food, and music indoor holiday market showcasing the diversity and vibrancy of Chicago’s Uptown community. We invited local restaurants, vendors, alongside live music and spoken word performances where themes of struggle, solidarity, and community were expressed and celebrated.
A big thank you to all participating vendors, restaurants, artists, organizations and individuals who helped make this event alive. With support from the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), Uptown United, and Alderman Harry Osterman of the 48th Ward.
